Classic - Rah Digga [Music Video]

Twitter: @therealrahdigga

Rah Digga's long-anticipated sophomore release, Classic, may have satiated both critics and fans alike after its release in mid-September, but the former First Lady of the Flipmode Squad is not through yet. The second video to come from the album, directed by Court Dunn as a part of Restless Films/Same Plate and NahRight.com's One Shot video series, is for the title track from Classic, and features Digga performing the new single in five different parts, each highlighted as frames on a roll of film. By the end of the song, with each frame in motion, it's safe to say that the more Rah Digga on screen, the better.

Rah Digga's sophomore album, Classic, is now available via Raw Koncept Media Group.

The Background:

New Jersey native Rashia Fisher, better known as Rah Digga, first dedicated herself to rhyme in the mid-1990s, becoming part of the New York battle-rap scene. She soon acquired a reputation that caught the attention of Q-Tip, the outspoken member of A Tribe Called Quest, who introduced her to Busta Rhymes, then making her First Lady of Busta's Flipmode Squad. Since then, Digga has linked up with producer Nottz for her new album, Classic, via Raw Koncept Media Group. "I wasn't created by a label. I am a natural born talent that broke into the industry based on my ability to rhyme and that's what people will always expect from me." Truer words never spoken.
